────────────
I am an illustrator and artist living in Kyoto's historic Hanamachi district.
From streets and buildings to local shops, people, and animals, I capture the many faces of a town through illustrated maps.
My illustrated maps, inspired by Kyoto's culture and everyday life from a local's perspective, have attracted attention on social media and opened doors to working with department stores, tourism associations, hotels, and other businesses.
Today, I have the pleasure of working with clients from different regions and industries, creating everything from walking maps to key visuals for events.
After working at a design company, I became a freelance illustrator. I draw on my experience across different fields to create artwork that reflects each client's ideas and needs.
"Maps that are fun to look at and make you want to go out and explore."
That's what I hope to create with every illustrated map.
